Plešivec area - adrenaline paradise for sportsmen

Visitors and tourists of Ore Mountains have some more selection for free time. The new rope centre on Plešivec will be opened on August 28 2010 and in the future, there will be new area for winter sports – Ski area Plešivec.

Plešivec area – adrenaline and sport paradise

Abertamy – and their first tourists visited the chalet on Plešivec in 1895. This year it is 115 years from its foundation and its popularity rises every year. Abertamy Hall as the owner of the hotel will remind the anniversary on Saturday and for tourists in costumes there is a buffet for free.

Rope centre Plešivec

One of the reasons for trip on Plešivec is the inauguration of two rope centres. One rope centre is designed for children and one for adults. Rope Centre Plešivec – for adults it has 23 parts. Interested athletes and tourists will find the site of adrenaline in a giant bungee jump and swing.

Large area is made up of 23 parts. The rope centre has a qualified trainer.

Rope Centre Plešivec - Children

Recommended for children from 3 years old. Childrens area has 10 parts. The rope centre has a qualified trainer.

Giant jump - adrenaline area Plešivec

The jump is something like bungee jumping, but instead of a bridge the adrenaline fans jump of the fifteen-meter-high tree, anchored in concrete footings.

Giant swing - adrenaline centre Plešivec

The giant swing is then suspended on fourteen-meter-long stakes.

Adrenalin complex was built on Plešivec by renter of Plešivec hotel and we would like to thank the following co-operation with the city hall community of Abertamy that all this allowed.

Mountain scooters - adrenaline area Plešivec

The ride on mountain scooter offers together with rope center Plešivec an experience. Several kilometers long trail leads from the mountains to Merklin village, where tourists transfer the borrowed scooters.

On the inauguration of the adrenaline area Plešivec on August 28, 2010, visitors can look forward to a lumberjack competition. Skills with a chainsaw and an ax begins at 4PM. Saws are specially adjusted with performance over 60 horses and weighs almost 27 kg.

The restaurant and hotel of the same name are parts of the view tower Plešivec . In colder days you can warm up over a warm cup of tea and home made potatoe soup. In summer, cool refreshing drinks. Restaurant and hotel Plešivec are over a partial reconstruction.

Ski resort Plešivec

Plešivec area should soon offer winter fun and winter sports. A modern ski resort on Plešivec is one of the main objectives of Abertamy and Merklin towns. The project considers three four seats lifts. If everything is running according to plan, the investor is able to run a ski resort Plešivec within one year from the start of construction.

The different slopes in the ski area Plešivec (the longest is 3 km) will lead to Abertamy, Pstruží and Lipa. The sports complex on Plešivec should operate genuinely self.
